There are various approaches to the treatment of infertility and menstrual problems not necessarily requiring an encyclopaedic knowledge of Western Medicine or the use of complex TCM and Herbs!
Sarah Matheson has been treating very effectively for over 10 years using 5 element acupuncture and a good knowledge and understanding of the biology, nature and needs of women. Sarah draws on her experience to give practitioners confidence to treat and obtain good results using basic principles and relating them through acupuncture:
How to treat in accordance with the menstrual cycle
Natural fertility through acupuncture
How to understand and support the progress of pregnancy with acupuncture
How to work alongside IVF and western infertility treatments
Inducing and assisting at birth
This course is suitable for all acupuncturists (TCM or 5E trained) but will probably particularly appeal to recent graduates or clinic year students. Jamie Hedger will be attending to clarify the relationship of TCM/5E for those who have studied only one approach. You do need some basic knowledge of acupuncture principles to appreciate this course.
